Thunderbird addon
I'd like to see a port of this application for Thunderbird for those of us using GMail IMAP.
362 votesMe too! In the long run we want Rapportive to work in all webmail systems and mail clients. We’ll probably work on the most popular clients first. If you know other Thunderbird users, get them to vote here!

suspected spam or phishing email addresses
After posting an add in Craigslist.org, I received a few emails of interest. A few were scammers looking to spam my email, address, phone, and who knows what else! So having an alert would be nice before I give out any more personal information.

View and search all the notes that I've entered
I've entered notes for different contacts, but there's no way for me to view the notes unless I read a conversation. It would be nice if I can have access to all notes that I entered. Better still, it I can view only "active" notes.
17 votesThat’s a very good point — I agree that notes would be a lot more useful if you didn’t have to go to an email from that contact in order to see them.
We’re figuring out ways to make this happen. Thanks for your input!

Outlook plugin
Any chance to create this app as an Outlook plugin?
887 votesWe’ll definitely consider supporting Outlook if enough people want it. To that end, if you haven’t already, would you mind voting on this idea? We get a lot of feature requests (for which we’re very grateful!) and the votes help us to prioritise.

Allow indicating when several email addresses are the same person
Many people use two or three email addresses: one for business and the other one for social stuff. If I know both of them, why can't I get the same info on both of them?
1,352 votesWe’ve made some progress on this: once you’ve connected your Google Contacts to Rapportive (http://blog.rapportive.com/address-book-inbox-together-at-last), then if you have several email addresses for a contact, we’ll recognise that the different email addresses are the same person, and show the same profile for all of them. This means you can “link” two profiles together by creating a contact in Google Contacts with both of the email addresses – however please note we could take up to a day to notice the change.
If we determine from your Google Contacts that two email addresses are the same person, that will be private to you – i.e. you’ll see the same information for that person from then on, but other people will still see them as separate. That’s because people often want to keep their personal and professional identities separate in public.
We know there are times when you want to…

Allow me to copy some or all of the info found by Rapportive into the Gmail contact card
have quick one button access to allow me to copy line items from the sidebar into the users gmail contact, or the ability to copy all the info at once
1,421 votesHey folks, we’re nearly done on this. When we’re ready, we’ll release a small beta test to everybody who’s voted on the idea. Thank you for waiting :)

Interface with Canned Response
if you could integrate with g-mail canned responses, it may be possible to use user information to build canned e-mail responses customized to that person - easiest example, pull their name into the response: "Hi (rapportive field)" how are you?

Pandora Raplet, like the Mixcloud one?
...so I can see what my friends are bumpin...
1 voteThis is a great idea! The Mixcloud Raplet was actually developed by the fine folks at Mixcloud. Why not email Pandora (http://www.pandora.com/corporate/contact) and tell them how useful a Pandora Raplet would be? :)

Send a request to my contact, for them to update their information
Allow me to send a request to my contact, through some kind of an invite button, asking him to help me fill in the data I want to have on him.

Thanks,

Support community developed plugins
Particularly would like a list of recent emails from the same user or "similar sites" to a sender's domain.
2 votesWe do have some support for plugins already, see http://raplets.com. And I’m very happy to forward you the instructions for building a raplet if you ping support@rapportive.com.
Ultimately, we will probably want to publish this information, but it’s not yet clear what the best way of doing this is. As Rapportive is inside your inbox, and we are very concerned about our users’ privacy, we are treading carefully in the process of opening this up.
