Integration to SugarCRM
I would like to be able to add an email to either a contact, account, opportunity or project within SugarCRM. There is a project called DolceGmail that tried to implement this.

Support GMail Themes/offer other color settings.
Darker themes make Rapportive invisible, maybe just let people pick from a few different color settings?
6 votesRight now we’ve given Rapportive a white background in all themes. This might not be the prettiest way, but it ensures you can see your information regardless of what theme you choose to use.
Though, we’ve started looking at matching the styling of different themes to look nice everywhere!

Disqus Comment Replies
I reply to disqus comments via email-- would be nice for rapportive to recognize the autoreply and the username.

Search for users on Plurk.
Rapportive also searches Plurk in search of client intel.

Search on pipl.com, google.com, spock.com, 123people.com for better results.
I have tested these services vs, what rapportive does now and have gotten better results overall using these other sites. allows me choices and I can pick the right one. I love the automatic search and integration this service provides, it would just be better with searching more sites.

Option to hide social network links and/or Raplets
I don't care what a person's myspace name or flickr account is, nor it it at all relevant to my business. I just want to be able to create notes that show up whenever I receive an email from that person.
For my purposes, all the social stuff just wastes valuable space and hides the important information. Can we have the option to disable it?
Can we hide everything but the Raplets?
7 votesHi guys, we’ve haven’t gone all the way to completely hiding everything apart from Raplets, but we recently made a big design change which should help: http://blog.rapportive.com/53827077
You can click on sections to expand them, and we remember which sections are expanded. So if you work a lot with your Raplet sections, they will end up expanded whilst the social stuff will end up minimised.
Does that help?

Rapportive for Zoho CRM and Mail
If you could coordinate with Zoho CRM, Zoho Mail and other apps, that would be even better. Zoho has a much wider apps collection than Google.
76 votesGood idea, thanks! We’ll see how much demand there is for Zoho integration, and will look into it if there is enough interest.

Soocial integration
What about using the Soocial api to apply the notes to the person's address "Notes" section and vice versa?

have paid option to search paid sites for people & companies - like zoominfo, hoovers & spoke.
While it is a paid option, it will allow this great tool to greatly expand its presence into CRM's, and other software that requires building relationships with peers, advisors, clients, etc.

add a linking feature (like they have in Daylite) so we can create linkages to each other.
In Daylite I can create links to show who worked with who, and who invested in who's company, and who introduced me to what company or person. This is very useful and completely different than showing shared networks compiled by LinkedIn. This feature alone would be valuable to the market.

narrow-focus the maps and maybe even pull them from our Google local map.
For my profile it simply says "Washington" and it should allow me to narrow in on Arlington, VA. - and give me the opportunity to override the location with one of my own.

Problems getting Rapportive to work for two different gmail addresses. (Also: workaround for Chrome)
I have two gmail addresses. Successfully installed Rapportive for first while on Firefox.
Then I logged out of the first address and logged into the second. No "Rapportive" link. :(
So, I (re)installed Rapportive for Firefox while logged into the second email address, restarted Firefox, and logged into second email address. Eh, voila, there was Rapportive on the second email.
Problem solved, but WAYYY confusing.
Bonus item: Previously, I couldn't see Rapportive on second gmail when using Chrome. After this exercise, I can now go back to my second gmail on Chrome and see that Rapportive is available there.

Why am I getting this error message when the API IS correct?
The API token specified in your "Bantam Live Raplet" settings (in the Raplet directory) does not match the API token in your Bantam Live account under the settings section.
3 votesHi Pamela, I’m putting you in touch with the relevant folk at Bantam; see the upcoming email.

minimize the space Rapportive takes up on Gmail if no lookup is found
Quit hogging my gmail space! Especially if you can't find anything, be courteous enough to get out of the way and not use up my valuable screen space
43 votesWe’re looking at ways to be less obtrusive when we couldn’t find any information, and also at ways to find more information :) Hiding the sidebar is a good idea.
