  2. See the facebook profile of the person of whom you're receiving a facebook notification.

    For example if you get a notification of a new comment from a friend, see the profile of that friend, instead of the non existent profile for update+h=vrhdfe@facebookmail.com

  4. Allow to turn off console log messages

    For extension developers, it would be useful if the console log messages could be turned off.

    Maybe you could include a flag in the localStorage for the background page (background.html) to do the same (in Chrome) and keep it as a hidden feature.

  6. Google Contact Group

    Google contact groups would be very helpful. If you click on an email and want to add them to a group, you are able to see a dropdown of groups and you can click a check box next to each one. After you click them, they appear like tags.

    For the future, you could review Universal Contact Manager does a really good job at graphically displaying the groups as tags, where they even allow you to color code the specific tags.

  7. Store authentication token longer

    At the moment I have to click "Log in as <email address>" fairly often, probably a few times a week. It would be great if this token would be as long lived as my gmail login cookie.

    Hi Sverre,

    If you visit https://google.com/a/cpanel/rabbelier.com/Dashboard, you will see a “Google Apps is changing” notice if your domain is not transitioned.

    If it has been transitioned, then clearing the cookies of https://accounts.google.com/ may help you rid yourself of the old state.

    That said, it seems equally possible that delegated accounts could cause similar problems, and I know we haven’t added explicit support for them yet.

  8. Default Twitter / Social Network Account for Feeds and Klout

    Hey suggestion for Rapportive. Need to be able to Select which Twitter account gets Klout measurement and feed shown, Right now I have 3 twitter connected and I cant get it to show the proper account.

    Only way to show the proper one now is to only have one.

  9. add names from the "from" field when adding email addresses to Batchbook.

    When using Rapportive with Batchbook, we can use "Batchbook it" to add email addresses directly. I would like the name of the person sending the email to be detected and added with the email address.

  10. Provide the ability to change the order that my occupations appear.

    Currently the display order of my past occupations display an employer from 20 years ago first. It would be nice to be able to manually control the top most appearing employer, especially in the case when we have more than one present occupation.

    I suggest you add support for Twitter lists feature. This can be helpful if you want to "tag" (add to list) someone based on a conversation you had with him, or when you follow him.

  12. Add support for sending Twitter Direct Messages

    To improve the new Twitter integration, I suggest adding support for sending Twitter direct messages.

    This will be helpful in two main scenarios:
    1. Someone DMed you, you open the notification email and reply to the DM from your inbox.
    2. You want to DM someone about an email conversation you're having (maybe you want faster reply).

  14. Look up Facebook profiles by name

    When I view contact who has a friendly name as well as email address, which is almost always the case, you should search my friends for a match and display their profile information. I connected Facebook and enabled richer profiles, but I get no results for any of my friends, which leads me to believe you are only searching by email address. Most people do not list their email address in their Facebook profile. You should additionally be trying to find their profile by their name.

    It would be useful to know which data for a person is from my private Google Contacts, or other logged in social network, and which is publicly available (based on your look-ups).

  16. Allow me to add a person to a group when I add a Facebook friend

    Facebook allows you to add a person to a group when you request they be a friend (or if you accept a request). I'd like this option from inside rapportive.

  17. wrong photo displayed

    I am connected with "person 1" on linkedin but they don't have a photo so rapportive is showing me a photo of "person 2" that shares a name with "person 1." I can't change the photo and it is driving me nuts! HELP!

  18. Contact management on gmail contacts is broken. And such Contact management is key, to using google

    ca) Photos of contacts in Gmail contacts : when I receive incoming phone calls on my Android or iphone, in order for me to view profile photos of my Gmail contact whose call I am receiving, I need to manually add photo of contact to my Gmail contacts. It will be great if gmail can help get the photo automatically either from my facebook friends, or drag-and-drop photo from facebook page to Gmail contact photo (in Chrome). Currently, I have to save photo to desktop, and upload to gmail contacts, which is tedious.
