    How about building a raplet for Insightly that would extract information from that CRM and present it to the user.

  2. Skype, Google Talk, Google Voice, TAPI, SMS Click to call

    Ultimately the best functionality would be for rapportive to, when I click on the number, pop up an option box that gives me the choice (based on user-set parameters) to dial or send SMS with: skype, Google Voice, Google Talk, or a TAPI - connected phone.

    The dialog could be very similar to the Call/Text option box that Google Voice (not Google Talk's "phone" feature) gives.

  3. Sometimes your "add to calendar" gives this resul 414. That’s an error. The requested URL /... is too large to process. That’s all we know.

  5. Rapportive for Facebook

    Hi,

    I always have this problem Facebook friends request, when i don't know the person.

    I manually search for the name of the person on linkedin, twitter, to see if the person shares same interests, and see his job, occupations etc..

    It will be great to have Rapportive for Facebook, which displays the same informations but on Facebook.

  7. allow me to change the width and location so that it fits on my screen

    I need to have my inbox show folders on the far left, messages next to that, and message previews after that. Unfortunately for me, that seems to push the Rapportive add-in off of the screen. (Part of it shows, but not all.)

    I haven't found a way to reduce the width of the preview pane, so my next idea is to drag the Rapportive add-in to the left. I COULD drag the other screens (folders, messages) to the left, but that would narrow them too much for me.

    Thanks for the idea, it’s a tricky business fitting everything in a limited space! :)

    Do you think it would be better or worse if we reduced the size of the preview pane to make sure Rapportive always fitted on screen?

  8. Warn before installing Google Apps that happy users of the GMail raplet may be disappointed.

    Seems like all reviews of HAPPY rapportive users in GMail moving to Google Apps are extremely disappionted. How about at least warn users before they change. I am on; in Google Apps I no longer have access to the right side raplet of my list info.

    Hey Bill, thanks for your note. I agree that the Google Apps gadget is somewhat of a disappointment; we’re actually thinking of discontinuing it, since the environment it runs in is very restrictive and doesn’t allow us to provide the user experience we want. Also the normal Rapportive sidebar works just fine on Google Apps domains.

  9. Allow linking an email to a Facebook page, not a personal facebook account

    I have my personal email and facebook account. I also have business email addresses and facebook pages for that business. I am admin for the page but that is obviously attached to my personal FB account. I want to connect my FB account to my business email but then attach it to my business page, rather than my personal page.

    Thanks for getting in touch — it shoulid be possible to add a Facebook page to your Rapportive profile:

    Click the “my profile” link at the bottom of the sidebar, and delete the existing Facebook link, then add the link to the page.

  10. Rapportive + Gmail + Chrome 19

    Hello devs,

    Rapportive won't log in or allow me to edit my rapportive profile.

    It keeps asking me to sign up with google, linkedin, facebook or other, opens and closes the new window and nothing happens.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for getting in touch — that sounds most odd indeed.

    I’ve tried upgrading to Chrome 19 but I don’t see the effect you are reporting.

    Is there any chance you could try downgrading to the beta channel of Chrome and seeing whether that fixes your problems?

  11. Problem: Clicking on signout in gmail says "please wait" but does not signout...

    After installing rapportive, when i click on signout button.. the page just says "please wait" i dont know what the problem is? Does any one have this issue too..

  12. Treat Angel List like the others, show if I follow or provide a button to follow

    I'd like to follow a person on Twitter, connect with them on LinkedIn AND follow them on Angel List. Don't know if their API will allow, but if so it should be easy for you as you've done something similar a few times now.

  13. Can't Login under Windows Chrome, but Windows Firefox works fine

    I have successfully logged in using Windows Firefox 8.0.1, but for whatever reason, when I click on the LogIn link under Chrome 17.0.963.56, nothing happens. I have cleared cache and restarted with no change.

  14. I would give my right arm if Rapportive could show which Group (if any) that the person emailing me is in.

    This would save me having to check whether or not I have already placed that person in a mailing group.

  16. Giving customisable names to the profiles and adding URLs to profiles

    I would like to see the name of the page along with the profile. for example, on my profile i have 2 Facebook pages- My profile and my company profile page. Both these pages are displayed as Facebook. I'd like to see it as Facebook- Priyanshu and Facebook-Marketology.in
    If they can be made customisable that will be even better, else picking the names from profiles page is good enough
    Similar for Linked in.

    Thanks for the idea, it looks like Nimble do have an API, though you still have to talk to them to get access to it.

    It would be cool if Rapportive supported all of the CRMs, though it might be a while before we get round to it!
