  1. Pull data from Yahoo Groups

    A suggestion: When I am sending email to a mailing list, such as a Yahoo Group, it would be interesting if you could have Rapportive pull the group description from Yahoo or the other group mailing lists. Right now, it just pulls the generic description of Yahoo Groups.

  2. Skype, Google Talk, Google Voice, TAPI, SMS Click to call

    Ultimately the best functionality would be for rapportive to, when I click on the number, pop up an option box that gives me the choice (based on user-set parameters) to dial or send SMS with: skype, Google Voice, Google Talk, or a TAPI - connected phone.

    The dialog could be very similar to the Call/Text option box that Google Voice (not Google Talk's "phone" feature) gives.

  5. Create a Raplet for ConnectedHQ

    You guys probably know ConnectedHQ (also acquired by LinkedIn), which is my favorite personal CRM by a landslide. Integrating with them would also make it possible to set reminders to follow up with people (as multiple people have suggested already).

    I am a great fan of rapportive! Congratulations on the LinkedIn acquistion, although since the service is down. I trust you to get it back crucially fast, as I miss it terribly!

  8. There is someone else's website linked to my emails.

    How can this be deleted? I noticed Rapportive linkes my social networks at the bottom of all my gmail conversations... But it has someone else's webpage attached just because we have the same name.. ?

  9. Support logins to multiple accounts

    I have 2 gmail addresses. I also have 2 twitter accounts. One associated with each. Is there a way to have the appropriate twitter account (or both?) associated with either of the email addresses?

  10. With AWeber integration, let me see when the contact joined each of my lists.

    It's great that I can see which of my mailing lists each user is on, but it would be a lot more helpful if I could see the date that they joined each list, so I could get a sense of whether the contact is "new" or has already seen a lot of my stuff. Is this do-able?

  11. Allow users to define the order in which the supported sites are searched

    i would love rapportive to have some kind of settings, so that i would be able to specify the order in which the supported sites are searched. (and possibly sorted on display in the rapportive panel, but it is not necessary)
    or at least have a chance to set a preferred source for the profile pic shown for a contact. i am using the "disable" extension which prevents fb, twitter and google from tracking me (or at least i suppose so :) ) and with this extentension enabled i can't see a contact's photo in rapportive if that photo have…

    When I enter notes, they didn't appear immediately so I thought it was broken. When I came back to it later, they appeared.

  15. Display the Rapportive layer beneath Gmail's scrollbar

    Because I use a browser window set to a particular size, the Rapportive layer at the side of my Gmail window sits on top of the Gmail scrollbar, which prevents me from easily scrolling down the window.

    Please set Rapportive so that it sits beneath Gmail's scrollbar!

  16. Rapportive for Facebook

    Hi,

    I always have this problem Facebook friends request, when i don't know the person.

    I manually search for the name of the person on linkedin, twitter, to see if the person shares same interests, and see his job, occupations etc..

    It will be great to have Rapportive for Facebook, which displays the same informations but on Facebook.

  18. allow me to change the width and location so that it fits on my screen

    I need to have my inbox show folders on the far left, messages next to that, and message previews after that. Unfortunately for me, that seems to push the Rapportive add-in off of the screen. (Part of it shows, but not all.)

    I haven't found a way to reduce the width of the preview pane, so my next idea is to drag the Rapportive add-in to the left. I COULD drag the other screens (folders, messages) to the left, but that would narrow them too much for me.

    Thanks for the idea, it’s a tricky business fitting everything in a limited space! :)

    Do you think it would be better or worse if we reduced the size of the preview pane to make sure Rapportive always fitted on screen?

    Would be great if one could see the reputation and the amount of gold, silver and bronze badges a user has earned in StackOverflow, directly in rapportive - instead of just a link to the profile

  20. Warn before installing Google Apps that happy users of the GMail raplet may be disappointed.

    Seems like all reviews of HAPPY rapportive users in GMail moving to Google Apps are extremely disappionted. How about at least warn users before they change. I am on; in Google Apps I no longer have access to the right side raplet of my list info.

    Hey Bill, thanks for your note. I agree that the Google Apps gadget is somewhat of a disappointment; we’re actually thinking of discontinuing it, since the environment it runs in is very restrictive and doesn’t allow us to provide the user experience we want. Also the normal Rapportive sidebar works just fine on Google Apps domains.
