This is very likely to happen, but it’s a very long-term goal. For now we’re trying to concentrate on making Rapportive as awesome as possible – and having it only in one place makes that much easier to do.

I definitely think this would be easier to do if you focused on a Firefox or Chrome addon because the focus can be on supporting any email address, phone number or twitter handle based on what is visible in the browser on other sites. Not that it would be "easy" but similar to your message above it would allow you to focus in one key area parsing browser content to find email addresses to show Rapportive data based on those addresses.

    Thanks for getting in touch,

We have vague plans to allow sites to embed Rapportive in the future, though it’s likely to be a while before that happens.

I’ll keep you in the loop,

    Conrad

I would love to see this too, in many places -- CRM and PM tools, and live chat tools like SnapEngage. It would be great if the solution could be something easily integrated with other tools, and maybe even considering a Chrome or Firefox addon that could detect information in any webapp/page and show info on hovering that address.
