Allow it to work on other social networks or anywhere an email address is found.
This is very likely to happen, but it’s a very long-term goal. For now we’re trying to concentrate on making Rapportive as awesome as possible – and having it only in one place makes that much easier to do.

I definitely think this would be easier to do if you focused on a Firefox or Chrome addon because the focus can be on supporting any email address, phone number or twitter handle based on what is visible in the browser on other sites. Not that it would be "easy" but similar to your message above it would allow you to focus in one key area parsing browser content to find email addresses to show Rapportive data based on those addresses.

Google+ integration would be great. I love the ability to create circles, but what would be really great is to be able to add someone to a circle from the Rapportive widget in Gmail, or to filter my circle in Google+ based on criteria made available through Rapportive (e.g. show me all of my Friends who work for Apple or who are based in Los Angeles). I want to use Google+ to manage my social graph, but apply it anywhere.
