Make Rapportive play better with other Gmail customisations
Rapportive block is moving with scrolling up and down and this cause it to overcome on other blocks and makes both unreadable.
For example, I've currently Rapportive block and Etacts (etacts.com) on the right hand side. When I scroll down, Rapportive block comes over Etacts block and making reading any of the information in both to be impossible.
Sorry that we don’t work well if you have Etacts enabled!
We try to fit in nicely into the Gmail interface, but unfortunately there are so many ways to customise it that we don’t always get it right!
We’ll see what we can do to coexist with customisations like this.

There are issues even without any other plugins!! As Douglas said, the gchat/compose-message/phone windows are broken when you have more than a few up at the same time. Essentially you've broken gmail. Please fix...it's not something that I plan on dealing with for very long.

Having similar problems with Rapportive and the new Gmail design..
The rapportive window displays over the scrolling bar on the right hand side, interfering with navigation

Second the problem with Active Inbox.

Another problem with ActiveInbox (formerly GTDInbox):
Rapportive moves GMail's "New Window," "Print All" and "Create a Document" button/links to the same toolbar row as ActiveInbox's buttons and drop-down menus. The result is that the GMail buttons overlap ActiveInbox's, and a "dead space" that won't accept mouse clicks covers the right three quarters of the toolbar, making most of ActiveInbox's controls inaccessible and unusable. This is a deal-breaker for me; you've forced me to choose between Rapportive and ActiveInbox, and ActiveInbox wins.

Thanks for the comments folks. Peter, your suggestion to make Rapportive scroll with the window or not makes a lot of sense. We'll see what we can do.

I have the same problem with ActiveInbox (http://www.activeinboxhq.com). As long as I don't scroll, the two work well together; when I scroll, Rapportive overlaps ActiveInbox. I may have to choose between these two excellent add-ins, and Rapportive will definitely lose.

To scroll or not to scroll needs to be an option.

I have this same problem. Although those is so much overlap between these two companies they should just merge or Rapportive needs to add e-mail tracking.
