    We have vague plans to allow sites to embed Rapportive in the future, though it’s likely to be a while before that happens.

    I've voted but also wanted to clarify how I would like to use an API you expose. I have a service that aggregates a user's friends/contacts from several social networks. Rather than have my users manually merge contacts from the networks they link, I'd like to use info from Rapportive to automatically merge their contacts. So I'd be looking to search Rapportive for contacts based on social network identifiers (Facebook object ID, twitter username, Google email address, etc) depending on what I've imported, get back their Rapportive profile to cross-reference those identifiers, identify contacts to be merged and automatically merge them.
