    Hi Rohit,

That’s a very interesting idea, but I’m not sure it’s something that all of our users want. (One of the things people love about Rapportive is the lack of adverts on the right of their Gmail).

What might be much better is a Raplet that showed coupons — so people can easily opt in to seeing these if they want to.

Would that be a good compromise?

not advocating adverts - if i get an email from *@bloomspot.com, doesn't it imply i already subscribe to bloomspot?
displayed coupons/deals will be contextual to the email received.

Hi Rohit, thanks for your note. I’m not sure I understand — do you mean emails should automatically be archived after a set period? I fear that might be beyond the scope of Rapportive, but we’ll think about it.

    Cheers, Martin

i mean -- i dont want all my emails to live forever - turn them in to html-ed objects that disappear after a 'set' time period. i think zaplet about 10 yrs back did it for microsoft outlook so cant be that hard...
