    Hey Ashwin,

    Thanks for getting in touch :)

    We’ve made a start on this, so we ignore uppercase vs. lowercase differences in all email addresses, and various .s and +s in gmail addresses.

    We’re not yet sure how safe it is to ignore .s and +s in email addresses than aren’t gmail. We’ll do some more analysis, and update Rapportive accordingly.

    Correction to post : Or searching shud be flexible enuf to guess the deviations to the original id....say x.y.z@gMail.com shud be equivalent to xyz@gmail.com or many more like this..?
