Allow me to copy some or all of the info found by Rapportive into the Gmail contact card

have quick one button access to allow me to copy line items from the sidebar into the users gmail contact, or the ability to copy all the info at once

    Also, would this allow for me to add someone into a specific Contacts group from the Rapportive box? Or is that not part of what's being developed?

    inluiding add one of the pictures it found in facebook or twitter or linked in to be saved there? and add some fields for twitter username or another field for the facebook link?

    I have a vTiger instance running with a MySQL backend. I have developed a contact sync for Google Contacts but if rapportive simply let me sync in there I would definitely be willing to pay. I understand it's hard but I have faith (beat xobni to it!)

    I am new to Rapportive and this was the first thing I tried to figure out how to do...went looking and found this discussion. Simple click to add contact or fill in missing data on gmail side would make we a raving evangelist! Get r' done boys!

    I'd prefer a one way copy to syncing, which, I agree, can get messy quickly.
    The alternative of opening the Contact sheet in another tab and copying and pasting back and forth is certainly a lot worse.

    +1 on that. I would love to be able to add the photo to my gmail contact. Now I save it to my computer, and then upload it to gmail. Quite cumbersome scenario.

    This is definitely a huge value add. I don't think it's an issue of duplicate contacts. More like copying additional email addresses, phone numbers, and links to the social profile into the contact record.

    Nimble (a CRM) has a feature that does this.

    I would love to have this option, since it would make things much more easier. If you can recall Gmail had an extension which was showing who were in your contacts and whom you would like to add.
    I am watiting for this cool feature.

    This would maybe double or triple Rapportive's current day-today value to me.

    I'm a Google Apps user, and I would love rapportive to populate any fields in my contacts that are currently blank. This means that you don't have to de-dupe or synch, just overwrite blank fields. A Plaxo integration would also do the trick ;).
