Ensure that the linkedIN status is accurate.
Fix the broken status indicator. I have had numerous experiences in which a person who is a 1st level contact is not listed as such. I send a "connect" request to them and they scratch their heads.

Add connection to Nutshell
Our whole sales team uses this excellent CRM, and I would love to be able to add connections and see history from the Rapportive sidebar. Thanks for a great product!

Allow me to disable it by default and just load the information on demand
I think Rapportive is really cool and useful for a few of the emails I get but I'd like to have it off by default, or at least be able to turn it off for specific contacts.
The ability to turn it off entirely on my address when it's enabled on my domain would be an acceptable alternative.
(My work enabled Rapportive for the entire domain, so I can't turn it off for my work gmail. About 90% of my emails are to a group of 5-10 engineers that I work closely with and seeing the same information on the…

pull info from phone numbers phone numbers mail.
Sometimes type a phone number in their mail. Gmail recognises it as a phone number so you can call it directly with a single click. It would be nice if rapportive would recognise it too and give sidebar info about the number your cursor is hovering.

Publish a blacklist of third parties
I suggestion for improving your reputation:
Since you said that you are vetting third parties for their privacy standards, I suggest a public blacklist of those not private enough.
This would both increase your reputation as well as acting as an incentive for them to change.Plus, this could also act as an incentive for a greater amount of ACL-powered API (read "from" field = yes; read "subject" field = no…) and their generalisation.

Support community developed plugins
Particularly would like a list of recent emails from the same user or "similar sites" to a sender's domain.
2 votesWe do have some support for plugins already, see http://raplets.com. And I’m very happy to forward you the instructions for building a raplet if you ping support@rapportive.com.
Ultimately, we will probably want to publish this information, but it’s not yet clear what the best way of doing this is. As Rapportive is inside your inbox, and we are very concerned about our users’ privacy, we are treading carefully in the process of opening this up.

narrow-focus the maps and maybe even pull them from our Google local map.
For my profile it simply says "Washington" and it should allow me to narrow in on Arlington, VA. - and give me the opportunity to override the location with one of my own.

This currently isn’t possible because the Raplet works with whatever account you’re currently logged into mailchimp.com with. It’s possible that future changes might improve this, but probably not in the near future — sorry!

Disable rapportive for users in my own domain (Google Apps)
It would be great if rapportive had an option "Disable for my own domain" in Google Apps, because I already know my colleagues and seeing their rapportive profiles everyday is annoying
