    Hi Rahul,

    Current system is highly restrictive to GMAIL. and also require an install -its not even like google gadget ans support is restrictive to some of browsers
    I am suggesting a system with more open platform on which a user can query for an email (with specific parameters so as to describe the social networks) along with the authentication details. Privacy is also suggested.

    Users can manage their profile(which current implementation already have ) like a DNS entry defining CNAME (as in DNS ) . Users also manage privacy by describing to which user class can get what content in return of their query.

    I suppose you might be working on those things. By the way Rapportive is a good idea to integrate all together.
