When I hit the "refresh" button, it should only refresh rapportive
I just lost a freshly started draft after hitting the refresh button from the "whats new" type announcement.
Frustrating.
I thought it would just refresh the rapportive frame.
Sorry for multiple updates here. The refresh button does unfortunately need to refresh the whole Gmail tab, not just the Rapportive sidebar. Sometimes when we add new features or fix bugs we need to reload the code that makes Rapportive work, and that only gets loaded when you open Gmail – so to make sure it gets updated properly we have to refresh the whole tab. We try very hard to avoid making changes that require this refresh, but sometimes it’s unavoidable.
However, Gmail usually warns you before refreshing the window if you click the Refresh button while you’re writing an email. It should pop up a window saying something like “you have work unsaved, really leave this window?” Really sorry that didn’t happen in this case and you lost work. It doesn’t warn you if it’s already saved the draft, but then you’d have seen your email in the Drafts pane. As the previous update said, it would be great if you could let us know (at supportive@rapportive.com) what browser and operating system you’re running – if there are some browsers where Gmail doesn’t warn you properly then we need to warn people using those browsers!
Sorry again for the inconvenience.

Thanks for letting us know! Now that I think about it, that's not an ideal experience - Gmail saves the draft automatically every minute or so, but it doesn't really indicate to you that it's saved. We'll try to find some way to make that case less confusing!

So it turns out there was an old draft saved in gmail. Thanks for the responses.
I was using Chromium 6.something (currently at work, can't check minor versions right now, sorry) on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx.
Thanks!
