improve Linked-in contact recognition
I've just started using Rapportive and it's very cool, except that Lilnked-in contacts are not appearing on your sidebar very often. When I click, your message box finds that they are there after all. Annoying
Hi Nick,
That doesn’t sound right… is Rapportive showing people on LinkedIn as though you were not connected to them even though they are?
Could you please let me know of an email address for which this happens?
Thanks,
Conrad

I can see where Nick is coming from. Not sure if this is the same issue or not but I noticed a delay when a new LI connection is added (Rapportive still shows "connect" when we are already connected). However it was just a delay (15-30 mins), and the little check mark showed eventually which flagged us as connected on LI.

thanks for the quick reply. The problem I'm describing has occurred with vrtually all of the contacts in my Gmail inbox. When I click on an email address, the Rapportive sidebar shows up with their info. Their various accounts are arrayed. In every case, the Linked-in account shows up, but with a box next to it saying "connect." When I click on it, the auto-send box comes up ("Rapportive says we are not connected. I would like to make you a contact on Linked-in") When I hit send, a message comes up and says, "You are already connected with this person on Linked-in. We will update your data on Rapportive". For other accounts like Facebook or twitter, when Rapportive indicates that we are not connected, and I click on the button, you are correct, and the followup proves it (I become a Twitter follower, or an invitation goes out over FB). Lnkedin seems to be the only buggy one.
