Allow me to correct my own profile
Hello Everyone, this has finally been finished! :).
Just go to the Rapportive sidebar, click on “my profile” at the bottom, and hover over anything you want to change.
Thanks for your patience!
Conrad
P.S. Now that this is completed, you can re-invest your votes into other stories — would be great to hear what we should do next!

Regarding the "The other is suggesting corrections to other people's profiles" issue - it would be nice to be able to add KNOWN accounts of other people and keep this info available for me - e.g. if I know the exact Facebook profile of a person who sent me a mail from his work (and not personal email), I'd still want to be able to see other info (like his/her photo, tweets, etc...).
Thanks! You are doing a great job! -

I attempted to update and edit my own profile 2 or 3 times today. Each time I log back in, none of the changes are reflected.

@Douglas What we're thinking of in terms of "combining email addresses" is absolutely determined by the owner of those addresses; the less guesswork the better, and we want you to be in control.
Sorry that it's taking us so long to finish this! In the meantime, please feel free to email supportive@rapportive.com — we're more than happy to make changes on your behalf.
Thanks for your patience :)

I am wary of your efforts to "combine email addresses" when you believe they are the same person. Even if your guess is right, many people do not want business and personal aspects to be mixed with each other.
Until users can edit and correct their profile, I would be very cautious about mixing data from two or more email addresses without user input

Multiple emails is a must. Would make an already awesome service 1000% more useful! (For example, I have a Gmail account, but also an alias at my own domain.)

I have successfully edited my occupation list, but I would like to be able to re-order them. That would be splendid.
I would also like to edit my location since it is wrong, but it looks like that is coming soon. -

I tried to follow these instructions to correct my profile and I was not successful. Do a simple screenshot video using camtasia or some similar program to show specifically how to change the profile including changing the picture. Thanks. Great product.

I'd like to second Christopher Massey's comment above and/or suggest the ability of being able to just add another email address as "me" so that you can combine any information you find for those addresses.

Tried to add my Facebook account and got the error "You already have a link to facebook.com. Please leave feedback if you expect this to work." But alas, there is no Facebook account showing for me. Is this because there's a 6 item limit to the social network list?

Hi everyone, just to reiterate: we are working on this, but in the meantime, if there are any changes you want to make to your own profile, please just email us at support@rapportive.com with the email address of your profile and the details of the changes, and we'll be happy to make them for you.

I changed my Twitter handle a month ago, and Rapportive is still showing my old handle. Like the service, though.

@Sam: not sure what your plans (or progress) are for this upgrade, however I think a great solution to this issue would be for Rapportive to have a hierarchical method for grabbing data for the rapportive display. I think first tier is to pull info direct from google contacts info, and THEN go looking into cyberspace. The Hero upgrade would be to take any additional (and correct) social media data which rapportive finds for us, and be able to easily log this info into google contacts and batchbook.
THANK YOU!
