Provide email statistics from recepient
Statistics like how many emails have I received from this person?, How many emails have I send today, yesterday, last month, etc. ?What's my busiest hour?, % of spam received (based on spam filter in gmail)? Average time for a person to respond an email?
Could you tell me what statistics you would find most useful? e.g. statistics about yourself or about your contacts? Do you think this would help you to use email more effectively?
We already show a simple statistic – if you click the “my profile” link at the bottom of any sidebar, or hover over your own name in a conversation, we’ll show you how many times your profile has been viewed by people you email.

"how long it takes somebody to respond" on average...
Or Let's say something like You sent 34 emails to this person and got 2 lousy replies ;-)
SO STOP STALKING... -

I agree Xobni is a good example of useful stats for email, although I think it's too much sometimes. I want to ask you about this "how many times my profile has been viewed" thing because I can't find it. Where is it? Maybe my profile is not being viewed at all?

You could provide a "how long it takes somebody to respond" on average...
as well as display their phone number so we can easily click to make a call using the google voice extension that makes phone numbers into hyperlinks that google voice can read.also people could just use it to grab their phone and dial it instead.

Add a feature such as Gmail Analytics, like Xobni does for Outlook — Analyze our email behavior over time. What day of the week are contact slowest to respond to email? What time of day do contacts send the most email? etc. Then have this feature displayed in a graph.
