Integration with Evernote
Hello! I'm really enjoying Rapportive! It seems much easier, faster and more intuitive than the corporate-based Xobni. I do have one idea: are there any plans to build in an Evernote integration similar to Xobni? The reason why I think this would be so powerful would be:
1. The ability to integrate note about contacts directly into Evernote.
2. Save contact information from Rapportive directly to Evernote.
3. Browse notes about that contact already tagged in Evernote.
Thanks so much and great job on a really helpful tool!

Hey Daniel,
That’s an awesome idea! (And very clearly explained, thank you).
We didn’t have any plans to do this, but now you’ve mentioned it…. :)

I came here specifically to see if Evernote could be attached to Rapportive. Rapportive is one of my favorite extensions and I was so happy to find Highrise works with it. Having Evernote would be the next step to making it perfect.

Connectedhq.com does this in a nice way, maybe you could improve upon it even further. Their version has a link to Evernote show up if the note is titled in the persons name. Where the save not feature is in Rapportive I would love to have this automatically create a note in Evernote (in a specific notebook) or update an existing note. Great Idea. I'm using Connectedhq.com because it does much of what Rapportive does but I just found Rapportive and I like the idea of having this integrated into Gmail instead of a separate site.

That's a great idea, I think such a link between evernote and rapportive would be awesome. May I also suggest a feature of collecting profile information of your contacts from different sources and creating a note in evernote for each contact. (similar to what's been described here: http://digitalminimalism.com/2011/evernote-contact-manager/ ) I could then add notes about the person, and tag them in notes.

Please do this! I would love to be able to use Rapportive with Evernote and allow me to make "Tasks" out of my notes in Evernote. Such a great suggestion.

Fantastic, Conrad! It's open mindedness such as yours that I know will help your company excel in a big way in this space. If you ever want any other input or feedback on how this can be best implemented, I'm always happy to help! I'm looking forward to hearing about progress as it's being made!
