recognize email addresses in the body of an email and add a quick link to add them to Google contact
Thanks for this suggestion! You can already do half of this – if you hover over an email address in the body of an email, we’ll pop their profile into the sidebar.
That doesn’t achieve the second half of what you asked, i.e. getting them into Google Contacts. Could you tell us more about how you would use that?

Hi Sam. Let's say that I have an email listing the names and email addresses of 3 of my students. For Student A, I already have a Google Contacts entry containing the same email address as the one listed in the email. For Student B, I have a Google Contacts entry but with a different email address as the one listed in the email. For Student C, I have no Google Contacts entry.
Ideally I would like to be able up hover over the email address of Student A in the body of the email and see their Contacts info in the sidebar (I can do this now). For Student B, when I hover over the email address I would like to see the Contacts info of the 'best guess' contact I have (probably based on email context, i.e. the name listed with the address or a similar metric) with an option in the sidebar to either add the new email address to the 'best guess' existing contact with a single click or use the address to add as a new contact (in case the'best guess' is wrong). For Student C, when I hover over the email address, I would like a message in the sidebar telling me that no 'best guess' Contacts entry exists with an option to use the address to add a new contact.
Let me know if I'm clear, I wrote this in a hurry on my phone.
Keep up the good work, it's a great app.
