Save notes in Google Contacts notes field
Hi Joe,
Thanks for adding this :). For the record, what do you use the notes in Google Contacts for?

I use notes to store unstructured data that I want to remember about a person. That they like Wasabi, that their Prius is red, that their child goes to such-and-such a school. I do this ALL THE TIME, so it's a natural place for Rapportive to store notes.
The Rapportive notes field is also a GREAT place to display those GMail notes.
So...I think it would be great if Rapportive used the underlying GMal database to store notes data, and displayed the same in the Rapportive pane.

Ya, it would be great if I could add notes like i currently can with Rapportive on the side, and the google contacts notes field gets updated with my notes along with a little timestamp of when the note was added. That would be very useful.

I agree with Joe, especially now that you are syncing with other google contract detail. My use of notes is much the same as Joe, its my personal CRM so notes are very important.

I use notes to record:
- More detailed information about contacts' work and social interactions
- Summaries of 'intelligence' passed on from others
- Records of dates when last contacted and what was discussedThis is much like the kind of thing you might track in a CRM app, except my contacts aren't customers and I'm not a business.
I am recording this information to support relationship development between volunteers working in disparate groups.
Hope this helps : )

Please can notes be replicated/stored in the Google Contacts notes field?
This will allow us to easily access our notes on devices that synchronize with Google Contacts.
