    Hi Conrad - This could be a 'pop sideways' window, a bit like your 'sign in' window that pops up within my Gmail inbox. Then I could simply click on a 'see more' button or link (so it wouldn't make it any noisier really) and get the pop up with a scrollable list of recent updates.

    I hope you can think of a clean way to implement this idea. It'd make Rapportive a very useful tool indeed, and I would only rarely have to actually visit Facebook or Linked. What bliss!
