Allow signing in LinkedIn with an email address different from the gmail address

I had the same error. What solved it was going into LinkedIn's settings and revoked access. After refreshing browser I was able to access LinkedIn through rapportive.

Also happening to me. However it works in Chrome (under my corporate email domain) but not in Firefox (under my Gmail address).

I'm having exactly the same issue. I've uninstalled/reinstalled rapportive to no avail.
It is ironic since rapportive is now part of the LinkedIn family. I am a premium LinkedIn customer and my gmail address is listed as an alternate.
One of the most useful rapportive features (now broken) is being able to invite people to connect on LinkedIn from gmail using rapportive.
Please fix!

This is happening for me on my gmail account, just started happening around December 2013 after a long time of happy rapporative use.
