Allow users to report bad/abusive profile matches
One good example is:
discship@netflix.com
Anyone getting Netflix emails gets links to some chick's myspace page. There should be a button to report bogus links so you can easily count reports & spot high value offenders.
Yup, we want to do this. (In the meantime, until we put in a proper “report” button, we’d appreciate it if you could drop us an email at support@rapportive.com if you find abusive profiles!)

auto-confirm@amazon.com gives some guy who wants me to vote for Ron Paul...

This is also a bad profile: plans@tripit.com - shows some guy in the UK

I've seen this persistently with one profile. The previous owner of sanjay.sharma2@hp.com (now at Accenture) must have used this email in his LinkedIn profile. Agree that it would be great to be able to provide feedback so rapportive can override default when wrong.

I also get frequent non-abusive matches - would be nice to be able to flag those - it's disconcerting to see some other person's face next to someone you email with regularly.

What about non-abusive false positive matches? This may only be an issue with non-stock Raplets, but I frequently get CrunchBase matches for people like my friend Jon Fox who is not the guy from IntenseDebate.

Comment by Brian Meloche from merged idea: "Let me notify Rapportive of emails that can't have a profile. An example of this is a distribution list email address, or a reply-to service notification email. If I know you'll never find a profile for an email, I should be able to flag it to not look up that email. Some distribution lists change the name based on the person who sent the message. If this happens, you should look up the profile of the name, not the email address."

The same problem occurs with a gmail address. It links to an Invalide FriendId, MySpace that the account had been deleted either by the admin or by the user.
Now, I understand the information provided by Rapportive is technically correct (there IS a link between this address and MySpace). But, considering the type of relation, a "(invalid)" tag or the like would prove useful (with an option to show invalid links or not, in Rapportive preferences or as a conditional hyperlink).

Thanks for flagging these emails up; I've removed the offending content from them all.
In the meantime, we're still working on a better way for users to report profiles. Thanks for bearing with us.

noreply@google.com is pretty annoying, as its the standard reply addres for auto-notifications from Google Apps. It seems to belong to a guy in Sudan, according to your info..

hello@theauteurs.com is currently linked to some porn ad twitter account, there seems to be quite a few of these.
