Support for new Google Compose layout

Google are pushing us towards using a new compose/reply layout that doesn't enable you to view who you are writing an email too (this is a huge thing for me when it's the first time emailing them)

Unfortunately Rapportive doesn't work with this.

    Interesting that there isn't more of an uproar over this, since Rapportive is a tool for GMail and Google has decided to force the new compose dialog without the option to switch back to the old style, even temporarily. Will Rapportive be stepping up with a solution?

    New compose has moved from an option to default. When you switch to old compose so that Rapportive works, Google tells you that "old compose is going away". Translation: you guys have about a month before you become irrelevant.....

    The "New Compose" feature in Google is really bad. You can't drag and drop files, or multiple files and have them attached.

    Instead it's back to the old way; hit the attach button, browse for a file (one at a time), then do it over and over again for each file.

    Who thinks up this kind of misguided feature? If google's biz model is to browse through all our info and sell our data to targeted marketeer's, why not continue to make it easy to use?

    Here's another example of a crap company who still after 4 months haven't even communicated the slightest hint of a solution.

    There HAS to be a company waiting in the wings to replace these worn out idiots... wish they would step up!

    yes - love the new compose as well - frankly - not sure how rapportive could support this but hope someone figures out a way - there has to be a company waiting in the wings to replace them... wish they would step up...

    since rapportive has been aquired by linkedin it seems like we're totally abandoned in our needs as a users. it really bothers me. no feedback here, not any "we definitely look into this", nothing new.

    I echo Bryan's comments - I like the new Gmail compose experience, and switched over to it on my personal Gmail. I've left my Google Apps for work in old compose mode for now b/c I like seeing Rapportive while composing. Rapportive team - what are your thoughts here? Surely you're experiencing the same thing we are.

    If gmail follows anything like their previous pattern, this new compose is an option now, but in a year or two, it will be the default way to view a newly composed email before sent and there won't be any turning back. It's actually a really cool new feature, and Rapportive is the ONLY reason I am not using it yet. But, now sure how long my loyalty will last if Rapportive doesn't keep up to speed. Wisestamp already supports the new compose.
