That’s a very interesting idea. We have some plans for showing you useful portions of email history; and this would tie into that very nicely.
Thank you very much!

integration with Plaxo
System could pull contact info from Plaxo which is in turn undertaking a lot of information aggregation.
8 votesHi Michael,
Plaxo integration would be really cool — they have data like phone numbers and stuff too? Are there any particular fields you’d like to have?

allow to accept linked invitations when an invitation mail is opened in the browser.
Currently, when an email is sent from linkedin invitations, rapportive does not understand that it is an invitation from a particular user and give any option to accept that invitation.
8 votesHi Roopesh,
That’s an awesome idea! Definitely something we should do when we get a spare few minutes :).
Thanks, and please let us know if you think of anything else,

Show country flag next to phone numbers with area code.
It might be helpful to know which country you are calling when using the phone numbers from rapportive. I almost always put the area code in front of the numbers but I can't remember which country they are. Adding somthing like a little flag next tot the phone numbers could help a lot. (+32 belgium +358 finland...)

Support for Yammer
Just like Twitter support, show recent Yams. Yammer is more relevant to me when I'm working.

allow to combine or uncombine claimed emails
Evidently I screwed up and didn't combine one of my emails. I see no way of changing that. Is there?
8 votesHi Bryan,
I’m afraid there’s currently no way to do that in the user-interface, however if you email me the addresses to supportive@rapportive.com, I can fix them up for you.
Thanks

Contact management on gmail contacts is broken. And such Contact management is key, to using google
ca) Photos of contacts in Gmail contacts : when I receive incoming phone calls on my Android or iphone, in order for me to view profile photos of my Gmail contact whose call I am receiving, I need to manually add photo of contact to my Gmail contacts. It will be great if gmail can help get the photo automatically either from my facebook friends, or drag-and-drop photo from facebook page to Gmail contact photo (in Chrome). Currently, I have to save photo to desktop, and upload to gmail contacts, which is tedious.

Look up Facebook profiles by name
When I view contact who has a friendly name as well as email address, which is almost always the case, you should search my friends for a match and display their profile information. I connected Facebook and enabled richer profiles, but I get no results for any of my friends, which leads me to believe you are only searching by email address. Most people do not list their email address in their Facebook profile. You should additionally be trying to find their profile by their name.
8 votesHi Ethan,
We’ve been meaning to do this for a while — thanks for the reminder!

Allow creation of custom fields
Custom fields would help bridge the gap between this and a CRM. Notes are nice, but actual fields are a lot more useful.
8 votesHi Adrian,
That’s a really interesting idea — we do actually have a little something in the works that should help in similar cases.
If you’re interested in getting very early beta access, please drop a line to supportive@rapportive.com, and I’ll send you the instructions.

Hi Gregory,
The “Add to calendar” button is actually a built-in Gmail feature, so there’s not too much we can do about it.
You might want to try getting in touch with Gmail support at http://support.google.com/mail/.
Please let me know how you get on,

Reposition rapportive for vertical split in gmail
I know that rapportive currently works with the verticle/horizontal split however its impracticle. I have widescreen monitors and if I could use vertical split it would be much more practicle for use of space. However when rapportive is being used for verticle split it takes up too much space on its own and makes the size of the email being read to small in width. I can honestly only use vertical split if I disable rapportive. It would be great if rapportive could recognize when verticle split was enabled and reposition itself to become a horizontal bar that is positioned…

add 500px support
500px is a growing photogaphy community, much like flickr, it'd be great to be able to add to my rapportive profile.

You should create a logo to insert in Gmail instead of Rapportive entire name.
It occupies some space and interferes with other apps.

Add Vizify.com to Rapportive.
Thanks!

Let the "add note" box get focused with a keyboard shortcut
I want to add notes really quickly while I'm navigating new emails using the keyboard.
Most of the good keyboard shortcuts are already taken, but shift-N looks like it would work wonderfully.
So the flow would be: I've hit return from the inbox to enter a message, I want to add a note so I shift-N, then the note box is focused and I can immediately start typing.

"inbox view"
When "mail.google.com" loads (the "inbox view") the emails from people
in my crm/social networks should be "glowing" or "jumping out at me".
I LOVE your guys' product as is, but won't you really be maximizing
efficacy by splitting the inbox into two "virtual" inboxes: one being
messages to me from outside my crm/social network and two being those
messages from people already in my crm/social network. If you add this feature, not only will you meet your desired target
demo use case but open yourself to the use case for average consumers
who would like to only see gmail emails…7 votes -

Option to hide social network links and/or Raplets
I don't care what a person's myspace name or flickr account is, nor it it at all relevant to my business. I just want to be able to create notes that show up whenever I receive an email from that person.
For my purposes, all the social stuff just wastes valuable space and hides the important information. Can we have the option to disable it?
Can we hide everything but the Raplets?
7 votesHi guys, we’ve haven’t gone all the way to completely hiding everything apart from Raplets, but we recently made a big design change which should help: http://blog.rapportive.com/53827077
You can click on sections to expand them, and we remember which sections are expanded. So if you work a lot with your Raplet sections, they will end up expanded whilst the social stuff will end up minimised.
Does that help?
Best,
Rahul
